Precision is also a human endeavor. The skill of the factory's team and the quality of the environment are as important as the machines themselves.

 

  • Expertise and Training: Skilled operators and technicians are crucial for programming the P&P machines, conducting routine calibration, and troubleshooting issues. Ask about their training programs and experience with complex components. A factory with IPC-certified personnel is a good sign.


  • Controlled Environment: For high-precision work, the factory environment itself needs to be controlled. Dust and humidity can impact solder paste, and temperature fluctuations can cause a PCB to warp slightly.
